So no solution yet? Trying to get this to pass emissions. 5 more years until this vehicle is old enough to not need emissions or I move to Florida. No emissions there.

I see in the diagram you have the resistor towards sensor, but in your picture you have the resistor towards the plug side. I wired mine according to diagram, I don't have p0420 but have p0136. Should I wire the resistor like in your picture towards the plug side?

Did you get a p0136 or p0156 after doing this oxygen simulator mod? If so, what is the fix? 1M ohm 1/4 watt and 50 uF capacitor is what I used.

I used the 1M resistor and 50V capacitor, I have the same p0136 p0156 on my 2004 4runner. Let me know if you have found a solution. At least my check engine light is off but the p0136 and p0156 will probably make me fail emissions.

Hi, I know its an old post. I followed the instructions closely. Making sure the negative side of capacitor is to white wire and resistor towards sensor side on blue wire. I am somehow getting the p0136 and p0156 code, passenger and driver side respectively. Should the resistor be farther away...

That's good to hear on the uppers. I just ordered LCA kit from Autopartswarehouse. About $200 for a pair, with bushings and ball joints. I'll be cutting the camber adjusters out with an electric saw. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
