Upon further investigation, it does appear the vehicle is indeed a 1999. There was a clerical error on the title that showed it as a 2002. Thank you Bad Luck for helping me discover that.

Passenger side wiring I ran right along the lower edge of the radiator (see picture). So I don't have switchbacks. I just went with a plain projector/HID setup.
