Help Get Lights for the Troops Overseas.

Lighting isn't a problem like other members here have said. Plus, new models are being sent with LED light kits (Like the ASV above). Not sure if it's a great idea though, they make you stand out among other night traffic a great deal more. You'll find often that NVG's and IR are more...

    Grille Guard Advice

Agreed, while a brush guard won't help you if you hit another vehicle, that will probably be the least of your worries... We have one on our Sequoia and Highlander, and I've one on order for the 4 Runner as well. Reason being, my brother hit a deer doing 45 in the Sequoia :lookout::roadkill: and...

Is it illegal to attach a light on top of your car?

Being a vollie FF in a suburban/rural area, I know for a fact that cops will go after you for displaying illegal lights and have no problem making arrests or outrageous citations and then confiscating them. And depending on the colors you choose, some areas the police use red, others blue, but...

    Weathertech issues

I had the same problem, it said processing over a week after I ordered mats, and it wasn't until I called and waited 45 minutes to talk to a rep. before they said they would finally have them shipped the next day.

    2004 v8 4x4 actuator replacement

Did you buy it from a secondhand dealer? If they won't fix it I would assume its no longer certified or under warranty. For a leak it shouldn't need to be replaced, should it? Even still you'd probably be able to find one used for much much cheaper, even with installation.

    All Terrain Tires

Cooper Discoverer ATR's I had these on my Highlander, and while a little noisy, I never felt nervous in snow or on wet roads. I plan on putting them on my 4R when the crap ones I have on now finally wear out.

    4runner wanders

My 05 does the same thing, on highways and rough pavement usually over 50-55 mph.I also notice it driving slower making turns, the wheel starts cutting into the turn itself, not that I don't mind, its not like its out of control. However I credit it mostly due to two different brands of tire...

    A few 2005 4WD Q's

Thanks everybody, I figured the cold would make sense, but after cruising around for about an hour and trying it again, even while coasting it was beginning to take several minutes to go from 2H to 4H and back. I see an appointment in the future, hope its not serious :ybrick: Regards, and I'll...

    A few 2005 4WD Q's

Hey everybody, I know I haven't gotten time to formally introduce myself, but I need some more knowledge before I make a decision on a potential issue I noticed with my 4WD. I've got a 2005 V6 Sport Edition with around 83K miles on it and with winter coming around I've gotten back to using 4H...
