    Dude. Glad you got it fixed. I picked up a 4th gen V8 with 181,000 miles on it this past summer and no timing belt or anything had been done to it before. Had the timing belt,water pump, etc. Done immediately. Glad you avoided any major repairs to it!

    Huh. That is odd. I was going to say it might be the Secondary Air Injection System if it was a V8, but with the V6 the same thing happened to my dad's '05 V6 and it turned out to be the gas cap. Could also be cold weather, too. Heard that with really cold weather it can trigger those lights...

    You wouldn’t need to disconnect the battery to change out the bulbs. But remember that if you unplug the passenger airbag sensor do NOT turn the ignition on until you plug it back in.     Do you have the V8 or V6? Run over to an Advanced Auto Parts store to see if they can check the codes for you to give you an idea.

    Seafoam 4.7 V8

    I put mine in this vacuum line. That is the only major one that I see on the vehicle. I just popped it off while the car was on and let it suck up the sea foam then shut the car off for 10 minutes.
