I see a set of 2880 or 2881 on the Bilstein site for the front they cost about the same as the oems. Here’s the link Front OME Coils for 95-04 Tacoma & 96-02 4Runner. Those paired with the 5100s and 906s in the rear. Sound good guys?

Brother everything is getting changed, even things that donÂ’t need to be changed. ItÂ’s a work vehicle and canÂ’t afford for it to stop while IÂ’m on the go; which is why IÂ’m trying to figure this suspension out because I donÂ’t want to be mucking around with it for a while.

I don’t understand why the 891s are rated for more load than the 906s but not progressive like the 906s. I’m sure I’ll have a constant weight of 600 pounds in the rear. Everyone still recommending the 906s? I’m pretty much sold on the 4600s and stock springs in front but now considering 891s in...

I'd rather the 4600s because I don't want the lift from the 5100s and because they come front and rear i just need a spring that's strong and will work. I might just order a set of runner springs and pair them with the 4600 struts up front. I don't mind if the front dips a little lower than the...

Ya you're probably right about the quick struts. I see the blisteins come front and rear, maybe ill go that route paired with the tundra coil springs in front? Are they any different from the runner springs?

okay great i see. Stock length bilstien 4600s a set of 906 springs and tundra quickies in the front sounds about right.

Thanks so much guys! Don't really want bags, I feel like they'll give me issues when the temp drops in the winter. So from what I've gathered, the 906 springs should be adequate for the rear with tundra quickies in the front using the original runner top hats. What about shocks in the rear? I'd...

Hey guys I am new to the forum. I have a 3rd GEN Runner. I am looking to do automotive work out of it and would like to know what the best suspension for carrying heavy loads are. I plan to put a gas compressor and my toolbox in the back. I figure that the quick struts from a tundra would work...
