Would the A340F transmission from a 1998 4runner be a direct fit replacement into a 1997 Toyota T-100?

Replaced both at about 260000 miles. Do not know if they had been previously replaced but were in very good condition, no play or tears in boots and well lubed. Torqued the four bolts on each at 59 ft.lbs.. Such a shame that Toyota engineered a LBJ set up like this!

LBJ torque values FSM page SS-35 states steering knuckle to LBJ bolts at 37 ft.lbs.. Read a post on this site stating Use a little Blue Loctite on the new mounting bolts and torque the four bolts to 59 ft.lbs. Quite a difference from a dry 37 ft.lbs. of torque to a lubed with locktite at 59...

Any one know the backspacing and offset of these. Might go to 17x8 but do not want to get too close to the upper ball joint. The greater the back space the closer to the UBJ, correct?

Searched but can not find replacement rocker panels. Any leads, Thanks

You might be rite. The FPR is closed until the engine fires up creating vacumn which opens up the FPR to bypass fuel back to the tank. Appling throttle reduces the vacumn closing FPR bypass. Engine has been cranking over too much before starting, cold or warm. New fuel filter did not help. Cleaned maf sensor, no difference. Runs good after starting. Any ideas? Thanks

Rear brakes are adjusted when using the parking brake. The linkage can get corroded and lack of use will result in poor brake performance.

Just removed tie rod ends last week. Bought the puller from Harbor Freight, #1752. Had to remove brake caliper, rotor and backing splash plate to get puller positioned properly. Did fine after removing said items.
