I completely agree, I came from a 4th gen sport that had the V8 thinking I would get better gas mileage, nope, and I sure miss the excelleration, but the NAV and push button start more than make up for it!

I was in the same boat a few months ago, test drove the JGC and hated it! And as others have stated, resale on the 4-Runner is going to be awesome. We bought a used 2004 Sport in Nov. of 08 for 15,900 and traded it in last month after putting an additional 50k miles on it and we got 14,400 for it!

Agree, my wife would love this...also I don't understand how a 40k + car doesn't have memory seats, that's my biggest gripe!

Good luck finding one, I looked all over, it seems like all the Limiteds in my area came from the factory with NAV installed, just another way to add more profit to the dealer, I eventually bought one with NAV and I am actually really glad I did, it's great!

That is INSANE! On my Acura that is how the windows come from the factory. My wife and I just bought a 2011 Limited and I was hoping there was a way that I can program this without going to the dealer, has anyone had success doing this without going to the dealers?

After about 2 months of negotiating online and in person the best I was able to do on a 2011 Limited was 39K. I was working with 6 dealers with small inventory numbers and actually feel like I got a good deal.

I've found a 4runner that was a managers demo, they claim the service manager is the only person who drove it, has 5k miles and they are willing to sell it for 37K...has NAV and a bunch of accessories, does this sound like a decent deal?

Thanks for the advice guys, I've got a dealer quoting me 39.2 for a truck with 45 miles on it, the only problem is that my wife doesn't want silver! Man this is getting to be a major headache! But I think 39.2 is under invoice, so we'll see what we can do with this...

Another dealer is trying to tell me now that invoice pricing is going up $450, he said this will be countrywide. Anyone else heard this? The best deal that I can get locally is $500 over invoice, not sure if that's worth it or if I should just wait until the end of the year?

Thanks for the responses, of the 6 dealers here in UT that are close to me there are a total of 8 Limited's on the lots, if I can get invoice I'm going to be happy...

That's more what I was thinking, right now with just NAV the best quote I've gotten is 40.3, I know area has a lot to do with it, but I'm suprised that no dealers are willing to negotiate much, if at all.

After buying 3 new cars in a row I decided to buy used and let someone else eat the immediate depreciation and I couldn't be happier. I feel that I stole my 04 Sport for $14,850. It had 53,500 miles and was pretty clean. It puts a grin on my face everytime I floor the V8! Let's just hope...
