I appreciate the moral support, everybody is new to something sometime!

I actually restrained myself this time and didn't use the force I normally do. How many times have I broken, bent or stripped by not seeing that hidden bolt or clip. Am trying to learn in my old age. thanks for advice, told you it was stupid.

OK, 95 4wd 3.0, am removing the front and rear drive shafts in anticipation of replacing engine. So...I removed the 4 nuts/bolts in the front/rear flanges of the rear driveshaft, now how the heck do I get it out?! what in the world am I missing? Won't move, arghhhh stupid yes

OK, do you think there is enough play in the front and rear driveshafts to move the tranny/transfer case a couple of inches?, or do you think I have to drop the shafts as well.
