Stupid Drive Shaft Question...Sorry

OK, 95 4wd 3.0, am removing the front and rear drive shafts in anticipation of replacing engine. So...I removed the 4 nuts/bolts in the front/rear flanges of the rear driveshaft, now how the heck do I get it out?! what in the world am I missing? Won't move, arghhhh

Yup tap tap taparooo.... They been on there a long time, gotta get their attention! Tap only on the flanges not on the shaft.
 
And don't be directly underneath it. It's heavier then it looks. It won't be comfortable to have that fall on top of you. :) Believe me, I know. (ask me how :))
 
I actually restrained myself this time and didn't use the force I normally do. How many times have I broken, bent or stripped by not seeing that hidden bolt or clip. Am trying to learn in my old age. thanks for advice, told you it was stupid.

Not stupid at all. My first time pulling a drive shaft I didn't have any experience and no T4R to ask questions. Finally hit it with a big rubber hammer as a last resort & Bam, out it came. :)
