Just an update. It's been over a week and I've put 75 miles on the truck without the lights clearing. I'm going to buy an OEM gas cap and see if that fixes the problem. Other than that, I'll have to see if other measures are warranted. I'll keep you guys posted.

I've heard this is a common fix. Original gas cap so it might be the cause. I'll give it a shot, thanks! If it isn't, at least it's not very expensive. I still might take it to Auto Zone to have it read but the Auto Zone around here is 45 minutes away with traffic. O'Reilley is a 5 minute drive.

I have that exact same light assembly. Did you physically open the LED unit and replace or simply cut the wire of the dead unit and splice in a new one (what I'm thinking of doing). Thanks!
