I had the same thing going on my 2003, Here is what I did. I installed daystar 3/2 level kit, 265/65/r17 duratracks on xd cranks rims. The only mods I had to make were removing the front mud flaps and move the inner fender in a half inch. hope it helps....
thanks for the info! has anyone else tried to play in the sand with the 2wd model? i think it has plenty of power with the v8 but a little woried about trying to get up the hills.
I just bought a 2003 sr5 v8 2wd. After driving this truck in the snow i realized that you cant shut of the traction control. well you can shut it off fo about 3seconds before it kicks back in. I am heading to silver lake to play in the sand soon but need to figure out how to disable the traction...
