traction conrol on 2wd

I just bought a 2003 sr5 v8 2wd. After driving this truck in the snow i realized that you cant shut of the traction control. well you can shut it off fo about 3seconds before it kicks back in. I am heading to silver lake to play in the sand soon but need to figure out how to disable the traction conrol. Most of what i have found has been for the 4wd models. Is there any way to trick the truck into letting me play?

There's a wire, I believe on the brake booster, that you can short to disable the ABS & VSC but you must kill the engine and restart to get it back on.

I can't remember all of the details of the mod but a thorough search will show it. I found it here so I know it's there. I believe it was in one of the large and detailed 4wd VSC mod threads.

Pulling the gray plug on the front of the brake unit disables all ABS functions.

thanks for the info! has anyone else tried to play in the sand with the 2wd model? i think it has plenty of power with the v8 but a little woried about trying to get up the hills.
