Well tht explains it.. I have the double decker system and never use it.. so I guess the net is worthless for me anyways.. well atleast now I know.

I started towing my motorcycle trailer at the 500 mile mark right after I did an oil change (I know the manual doesn't say to do it.. but it makes me feel better).. anyways.. been towing it between NC and WI and FL since then with no problems have about 25K on the clock now.

You might want to check your local laws before you go that route. I know here in NC it is required that the turn signals be amber in color... basically since the cops here have nothing better to do they will pull you over and give you a ticket for it.

A little over 25K on mine and they still look brand new... about 1/2 and 1/2 city/highway driving.
I agree with everyone else though depends on your driving habits as to how long your pads will last you... and don't wait for the metal on metal grind.. replace them when you start to hear that...
