I love how low this sits - has to help with MPG - mine does not have crossbars (just the bars running lengthwise) - I can't even see the cross bars, are they something I can add on?
thanks all -
and yes, I should have clarified a little.
I am looking for an all purpose cargo box (not just a rack). We live in NC and do a lot of trips to the beach and the mountains for camping/hiking. Recently had to trade in the tacoma for a 4runner as I am not a family man :-) - with the...
just some more info - my 4 runner has the factory bars that run lengthwise (apologies for not using the right terminology) - not sure if that is considered a roof rack. I plan on pulling the cross bars off my wife'ss suburu crosstreck - will this work?? (I was told they Thule, they came off the...
Need to get a roof top carrier - any suggestions on best? or ones to avoid? Obviously looked at the common name brand (Thule, Yakima, etc) but wanted to know if I was missing anything specific to the 4runner (2019 sr5).
Thanks all

Just got my first 4 runner and traded in my beloved Taco as I am now a family man :-). Have a SR5. We do a lot of trips to the beach and mtns in NC (hiking, etc). We probably are going to need just a little more storage for our trips, plus it will be nice to keep the sandy stuff out of the...
this is more of what I was thinking of - but the canvas is interesting - just depends on how easy it is to take out and clean. Like I said, mainly dealing with sand, but a little mud from camping trips
looking at adding running boards to my 2019 - the wife is a little on the short side - lol. Anyone have experience? Cost? I know they are $799 as a dealer option.
Just got my 2019 SR5 with the rear cargo sliding deck. Does anyone have any sort of weather proof cargo mat? We do a lot of beach trips and trying to figure out a way to avoid getting a bunch of sand in the back.
thanks!
