    Toytech lifts

I agree 100%. But what does that have to do with a shock that Is lifetime warranty if used in the specified application. Why doesn't Bilistien list the shock for 4runner if it's the same. My point is that I bought the lift because I was under the impression the shocks were lifetime and didn't...

    Toytech lifts

Toytec don't back up their products. I bought the ultimate lift for my 02 SR5 with the 650lb front springs 2yrs ago. I have blown both front shocks in just 2 yrs. So I call Bilistien directly about the lifetime replacement warranty and because Toytec is using a vehicle specific shock (Tacoma...

Cv boot options, what whould you do?

Thank you all for your input. The allpro, s are way to big, and even if I could close the gap I would be worried about tthem rubbing the rivets on the LCA. they look like they would work well on the inside. As far as the boot slide goes what boots would you us, OEM, or ORS?. And your thoughts...

Necessary to run wheel spacers with Ultimate kit W/ 285's and stock wheels?

I am running the ultimate lift W/ 2" body 285/75/16's AT2 Grabbers and spidertrax in all 4 corners, no rear swaybar and love the ride and the handling, It is a bit softer than expected with the hardest option available but what a difference from factory worn out stuff, those guys and girls at...

    CV Boot replacement question

I would recommend rebooting. I ordered 2 sets of axles thru auto zone and both sets all 4 axles came with crushed seals. So I thought I would try a set from Advanced auto parts and both of them had crushed seals. I BIT THE bullet and ordered some extended angle inner boots from OFF ROAD...

Rusted brake line and propane torch?

I would use the micro torch, they have a more controlled flame, I wouldn't be worried about the gas tank unless you have a leak. Be patient and let the PB blaster and the heat do there job. Try this method: Clamp a small pair of vise grips on the nut, apply Heat , spray with PB, Let soak for a...

Rusted brake line and propane torch?

I put Goodridge Stainless braided on mine last year and was able to get all lines off by using a Wire brush to get all rust off from joint spray down with PB blaster let soak for 10 minutes then I clamped a small pair of vise grips on the nut ( mine were so bad there wasn't any hex left to put a...

Torn CV Boot question WITH PICS

Mine did the same. I purchased a set of axles from auto zone and the seals that go up against the back of the spindles were all bent out of shape from shipping. They sent them back and the next set was the same way, so I did not except them, I order through advanced auto and that set was the...
