You're absolutely correct. Is the 5th gen cheaper as a result of less parts (deflector built into plastic housing) or that it is a cheaper horn altogether?

Have the same ones and love them. Wondering if the 5th are better or just a slight revision of the covers? Wonder if the covers come off on the 5th...maybe too many people were taking them off and Toyota got in trouble LOL I'm definitely going to take them off and give that a try...
