Am a newbie here and this is my first post. Have a 2005 V8 and the hood struts have become quite weak and need to be replaced. The local dealer wants $487!!!!! Parts look to be about $55 each and it doesn't look like a tough DIY, but what am I missing? Can anyone point me to install...
