I want to disable the back window open button on my keyless entry remote. The manual says to take it to a dealer but it's gotta be a diy thing right? Anyone know how to do this?

The problem with a dash kit is that I haven't found one that will cover my problem areas which are highlighted in red. In the diagram of the dash kit it shows pieces for either side of the center console but only for the the top and not the sides which is what I want to cover.

That's what I wanted in the first place, but I couldn't find a kit that covers the sides of the center console. If these kits exist please let me know where to buy one.

Thanks for the advice! If I pull this one piece and respray it won't I have to do all the pieces that are this color since I'm guessing it won't match.

I just bought a used '03 4runner. It's pretty clean except for some scratches on the sides of the center console (silver paint). I've been looking at dash kits but haven't been able to find one with pieces that cover this area. Does anyone know where I can get touch up paint that would match? Or...
