Had a rock chip in a turn signal so I threw on some cheap clear lenses. Looks much better. Makes the anthracite look less brown and more charcoal.

Nice and simple but i'd be worried about those wingnuts rattling loose. Especially since wingnuts are usually made with a looser fit than hexnuts. maybe drill a hole through the bolt and put a cotter key in there?

I just clipped the wires to the speaker for now. No sure if its the same as yours tho. I plan to replace the whole mess with a remote start soon.

What Gerdo said. A different rod doesn't really help anything it just makes it fit. Lowering the mount brings the geometry back to where it should be. That being said, is there a reason why people want to use the longer rod instead of the drop? Seems like a more expensive option with less...

Agreed. A previous owner did the rollback but I'm sure he knows. Well I know he knows now! I asked him about it. Looking at another one in the area that's the exact same scenario... Wtf is it with people.
