Its a V6 so i guess I'm out of luck. I'm a little surprised the sensor is bad after 52k miles but i'm sure its more a function of time than mileage. Thanks for the replies.

I just had my car serviced today at my local Toyota dealership. They told me they took the pedal off and filed two inches off the bottom so it would not stick. They did not replace my floormats. If someone was told differently let us know.
