    Grease out of carpet

I have the Oak interior in my 2000 4Runner. Instead of on top, I carried my bike in the back. It had tilted over and the front chain ring rubbed against the wheel well. I now have a large print of grease on my carpet. Does anyone know the best way to remove the grease? It just looks awful...

    idle after supercharger installed

Thanks for the reply. Mine is a fully loaded sport. 5 speed. I was afraid it would stall. Hasn't yet. According to my manual, the idle is fully electronic. So hopefully it will come up a little once it sees the new supercharger.

    idle after supercharger installed

I installed my supercharger yesterday and took my 4runner for a drive! Very nice power gains! Anyway, I have the 3.4 2000 4runner, once the engine became hot the idle would drop to about 300rpm. Is this normal until the computer adjusts or should I just raise the idle? Thanks.

    Auto temp controls

I have a 2000 SR5 4runner with manual temperature controls. Does anyone know if I can replace the manual ones with the electronic controls from a 2000 Limited 4runner? Seems like with the older models the wiring was already in the dash, you just needed the upgraded parts. Thanks for your...

    Colorado Off Roading

Where are you at in Colo. There are a few trails around the Ft. Collins area that are possible year around. Most in the mtns are too high with snow. Carnage Canyon and Kelly Flats aren't too bad this time of year.

    on board air

I bought it off ebay. It is just like this one. .Ebay link I will post a photo of mine tomorrow. I think it works best off a tank. It takes about 15 min to fill a 10 lb tank to 90 psi. Not strong enough to run air tools, but works ok

    on board air

I have a thomas 12v mounted under the hood of my truck. It fills a small tank for airing up after a trip. It works fairly well. I will take a photo of it and post it. It was around $125.

Is it possible to convert drums to discs?

I made my own brackets and used Monte Carlo calipers with Chevy truck rotors for my 89 trucks conversion. Works really well. I did it too with my 85 4runner. I am thinking about it on the 2000. However, I haven't come up with a good emergency brake yet. You can see some photos off my web...

    Help With Used 4Runner Decsion

I think the snow ability is great with the 4runner. In 4wd, they do well on snow packed roads. A stock 4Runner will do well. I have a 99 4runner, that my wife and I drive in the winter. They do great!
