Only thing I can suggest is wear gloves when handling bulbs. Not because of the heat, but rather the oils in your skin will significantly shorten the life of your bulbs by creating hot spots in the glass.
I'll post some pics up later today once I get them uploaded. It's not a game-changing mod...unless you have a Sony H/U and a non-Apple phone, then it's pretty great.
My new H/U doesn't have an auxillery out port on the front, and while I have an Ipod, I also have an android phone with a lot of music, podcasts, etc on it. And I liked having the Aux port in the center console. It's cleaner that way than having a wire dangling around.

It's been awhile since I've been in the stereo installation business, but your biggest issue is going to be a way to get the signal from the factory HU to the Amplifier. You could use a high to low level converter, but they're not that effective. It really just taps into one of your signal...
Okay, after much fighting, cursing, and one defective module - I finally got my stereo to recognize the steering wheel controls. No thanks to Metra, or their AXXESS interface website, or the PDF they give you, or the application guide.
So I'm going to walk you through it step by step. I'm...
