Agree with SR5Bart. If your vehicle, do what you want. Looks like you already made up your mind on what you want to do. Why even change your oil twice a year. Send a sample out to get analyzed, and they'll let you what to do and when to do it.

If your looking for a temporary fix, go for it. Just remember that you've lost some grease and got some dirt in there. Long term spend the money and do it right.

I've been pulled over more often in my '93 Ranger, 5 speed 4 cylinder, 2wd non-modified, than my lifted '14 4Runner and lifted '07 Tundra. Go figure.

I traded in my 2010 SR5, for a 2014 Trail with KDSS. Both 4x4. Got tired of body roll and nose diving on the SR5. The Trail provides a much better and stable ride.

My dealership in Virginia Beach, Charles Barker, changes my oil with synthetic every 5000 mi, so not a bad deal. Guess it depends on the service.

I love my 14 Trail Premium with KDSS, I traded in an 11 SR5 loaded. I think the look is much better. It's other for everyone though. I have an 07 Tundra and don't like the new body style, but a ton do.

So I purchased a Revtek spacer lift (432) front 3" and rear 2 1/2". Will I need to put on new upper control arms to get it aligned in specs? I have searched and never came up with when you need or didn't. Thanks, Shep
