When do I need aftermarket UCA's

So I purchased a Revtek spacer lift (432) front 3" and rear 2 1/2". Will I need to put on new upper control arms to get it aligned in specs? I have searched and never came up with when you need or didn't.

Definitely recommended, especially at 3" . I lifted mine right around 2" in front, and it aligned fine.

It is a great idea to get aftermarket UCAs to help with the alignment. Honestly, it will make the vehicle safer to drive at speed when properly aligned. I couldn't believe the difference in handling and stability after installing aftermarket UCAs that allowed for alignment within Toyota specs. This would be the only reason to do so unless you were doing a crazy high end suspension that would promote greater travel, in which case you would have to go with a UCA that could handle the greater suspension travel and not bind up.
