Yes, same jumper procedure for later models. Easy to do. I did it in my 2016 and I do think it helps the stock head unit to be able to put out enough power for real speakers in the doors.

You can pair your phone through Bluetooth, but it’s not wireless CarPlay. That is, you don’t get the CarPlay interface unless you plug-in. The sound quality is a bit better plugged in but music through Bluetooth isn’t bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
