Can a second set of TPMS sensors be cloned in to avoid reprogramming when I swap my winter tires on/off? A post from a forum member made me think they could but Discount Tire isn't sure if it will work. That tape over the light idea just keeps sounding more reasonable. Thanks for any input.

Have you ruled out the 285's? I'm doing the same rims and tires and I'm thinking about rolling the dice on one up from your plan. Just curious.

Thanks for the replays. You're right tinman, I looked the info the dealership gave me and 42607-33021 is the part number they gave me. Looks like I'll be working on sending these back. I don't have a discount tire nearby, but I'll look into the cloning. May be the way to go. Thanks again

Thanks to anyone for trying to help with my issue. I'll try to make this short...and yes I know I'm pole vaulting over mouse turds here and this is not a legit build up question. I have a 2013 limited. Bought a second set of 2014 or so trail 17" rims so I have two sets...one for winter/trail...
