Bingo.

Doing other component while it was down due to the miles. There was no noise soming from the chain.

Long story short the head gaskets need to be replaced and with the miles i was gonna do the water pump, timing chain ect with the miles on my wifes (now mine) 04 4runner V6 w/ 191K. All the dealers want $2500+ All the local shops dont want to do it or know how and are telling me to run it till...

Just found out my wifes 04 has this same issue. Do you guys recomend going with Toyota parts or felpro ect?

I drive a 03 Sierra Denali, 6.0 AWD/AWS, GMPP CAI, LT's, BBK 80mm TB, Wheatley 93 oct tune. Currently porting a set of heads to go on it plus a cam and intake swap. Wifes 4runner is stock for now. Looking to do a few minor upgrades mainly to help mpg. Dropped it off at a body shop this evening...
