Discovered that the forward u-joint on my driveshaft was finished at 203,800 miles. Not a replaceable part apparently, had to put in an entire driveshaft, pretty expensive part, easy replacement. I guess if there's a lesson for us, it may be to push some lube in those u joints every 50,000 miles...

It sounds like a loose ground wire in the center stack of the instrument panel. They should be a group of brown wires bolted to steel chassis in there. Look for signs of recent removal and replacement of radio or HVAC panel..

Have your mechanic look at the front brake pads. Mine were thick on the outer & very thin on the inner pad on both sides - and I had the same symptom, mostly under braking.. Good luck, Bill
