    best bang for the buck

    the best bang for your buck is to put smaller tires on it, or just put new ring and pinions in it. 33x10.50 are huge tires for something built to run 225/75r15's with 4.10's from the factory. regearing would probably be the cheapest way to go.

    i aquired the same thing last year, an 86 with a cracked block. i ended up finding a carbed 22r out of an 84 2wd pickup. Had to do some drilling and tapping to get the EFI manifolds to bolt up(intake and exhaust) and had to switch the oil pan along with some other small odds and ends. runs great...
