After a couple of years of owning my 4Runner I installed Icon Stage 5 lift w/billet UCA. Installing took awhile to do as I was in uncharted territory for my skills. All in all it wasn't too bad because of the documentation on this website. Thanks T4R.ORG!
I'm sticking with my Limited wheels...
Currently the 4Runner is on jacks all the way around because I had to remove the XREAS. Would this produce the same effect or should I get the car down from the jacks and proceed with your suggestion?
I'm installing Billet UCA Kit from Icon and I'm having trouble aligning the uniball stem assembly to the spindle.
The instruction mention that the uniball will be very stiff the first time moving it. I cant seem to budge it.
I think I have the lower UCA jacted up enough for the spindle to...
After reading my question over again I can see how it could be a little confusing. I do have a 12 pt socket, its just that the bolt is in there tight.
Decided to pull out all of the XREAS first before I started on the front coilovers and UCA. Let me say.. The Dremel works real well for this...
Thanks guys for the quick responses. wfo9 I'll give the vice grip a tri. I have a couple of old golf grips that might work well so's not to mar up the adaptors. I'll let you guys know how it comes and if I run into anything, I'll make sure to document for someone else.
