Well I was going to try that but it appears I now have a head gasket failure. Was driving to work and suddenly started idling poorly. Black smoke followed by white as I pulled over. Shut it off and got a tow. Rip

Hello all as the title says I have a 3VZE in a 91 4runner auto that keeps having its dipstick pushed out after a short drive. Just want some additional input, but I think I know a 5VZ/V8 swap is in my future. However I would like to get this engine to last if I can get it to stop doing this...

Ive been wanting to go to some dunes for a long time. Beach and sand is nice and all but it takes forever to fully clean out the car

I do like the latest generations of 4runner, but the price sticker shock is real. Not sure I'd go for one over a LC but i have yet to actually sit in either. I think either way I would wait several years til some of the new model quirks end up ironed out
