Yes it is the "never pay for the same service twice" lifetime warranty...who knows exactly what that means though, I didn't read the fine print. I have no doubt that I was hosed on the labor, just wondered how bad :)

In Houston it seems like GX460s are mostly driven by middle aged ladies to shuttle between the beauty parlor and the dry cleaners. Perfect folks to buy from after the latest exterior refresh necessitates an update.

I don't understand why anyone would buy a 5th gen over a lexus gx460. they are cheap used and tend to be owned by elderly ladies.

Pretty sure the battery install was free. Has anybody changed an alternator on a V8?

4 hrs. I think the V8 is more involved, not sure why though.
