I made it :) Check out Bad Elf GPS if you have an iPad. Bad Elf GPS for iPod touch, iPhone, & iPad - Bad Elf Live GPS and downloadable maps through Gaia app. Works fantastic, no complaints or problems, and it is legit GPS receiver, no internet connection needed.

I have carpeted this and attach my iPad to it with small bungy. swivels and lowers...etc.

About 250 miles on mine (98", Auto, DD). Took it on a few wheelin and hunting trips. LOVE IT!. Can't hear the click unless window down and only get the occasional clunk when throttle up while turning under load, nothing that hasn't been addressed in this review. :cheers:
