I got a CEL indicating a misfire on cylinder 4. Can someone tell me which cylinder that is? Any suggestions on fixing this aside from checking the connections? Do these coil packs have a tendency to go (I have about 110k miles, and the plugs about 5k)?

Is there any way to replace the ball joints and control arm bushings on an 04 4Runner without replacing the entire control arms? The upper and lower control arms are $800+/side from the dealer.

The plate is a piece of thick blakck plastic, and I cut it out myself. I will get back to you on the model number. As far as mounting the plate, there was a bit of a lip around the area, so I just cut the piece to an exact fit and wedged it in. It has never been a problem.

I had to cut out the back of the upper glovebox to make the DVD player fit. But there was plenty of room back there, and you don't see this from below or from the front..

Too Many Blue Lights I know in NY state, you are only allowed to use ONE blue light. Alot of our guys ignore that rule, and I've never seen any of our guys getting hassled, but I'm sure it could happen. Don't you have the same law in NJ?

I have found that the T4R will not shift from 2WD to 4WD above about 45mph. I have tried this on the highway, where for example it starts to snow....and you have to slow down to get it into 4WD. It will shift from 4WD to 2WD at any speed, but you must lift off the gas.
