    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas to all! And yes, please do not put antlers, wreaths, noses, eyelashes, moustaches etc. on your 4runner. It's like dressing up your dog, and then watching them look miserable! 4th Gens forever!

Bilstein 5100s at .85" with stock springs

No rubbing whatsoever. These have been my favorite tires for over a decade, and I used them on my 99 Tacoma before the 4runner, getting 60-80K on them before replacing. When I installed them on my 4runner before the Bilsteins, they filled the wheel-wells too much but still didn't rub at all...

Bilstein 5100s at .85" with stock springs

Just wanted to drop my 2 cents in... I put Bilstein 5100s all the way around with stock springs and the fronts set at .85, and I am completely in love with the setup. Better ride, better handling and the rake is dang near level. There are pics in my profile albums.... Love these things! I...

**i'm getting sick of being bumped!!**

I actually live in LA now, which means I'm REALLY glad have it. Got it in Durango, CO at a place called Tarpley'S RV. Not sure if they have a website. But like I said, I'll bet you could find one at a specialty trailer or RV shop, or have a welder make you something that could fit in your...

**i'm getting sick of being bumped!!**

That's what I have. Some dumb chick in a Sentra hit me once and my hitch went right through her radiator and not a scratch on my truck. I got my hitch in Colorado at an RV supply. I'm sure you could find one somewhere. It isn't the most cosmetically pretty thing, but I never worry about...

    Seriously impressed....

I agree with most of the other posters here. I drive my 4runner (and the Tacoma that came before it, that I put almost 300K on) because I don't have to worry about taking it to the shop. I do my regular maintenance and I don't have to worry. And I've seen lots of broken Jeeps. Don't see many...

    Bilstein 5100s with OEM Springs

Thanks! The rims were actually like this when I bought the 4Runner in 2010. First chromed ones I've seen. They look good in the pictures, but close up there is a little bit of chipping going on in the crevices, etc.. I'm pretty happy with them, but am considering getting some sport wheels off...

    Bilstein 5100s with OEM Springs

The 5100 have four adjustable rings on them, and as far as I know this particular model is only adjustable. I believe the first setting would be close to stock height in the front. I'm on the second setting now. Each setting raises about an inch I believe....

Has anyone put aftermarket seats in their 4th gen? Pics?

Just curious if anyone has done it. Or, has anyone gone in and modded the foam to reshape them? I wish I could get the front of the seat a bit higher in the front under my thighs. Saw the thread on putting washers under the front bolts, but I'm a little skeptical... The factory seats can get a...

Anyone got Wrangler Duratracs or BFgoodrich A/T

Love my BFGs both on and off road. Keep em rotated and at the right pressure and they seem to last forever! Mine have about 15K on em right now.

Took a quick pic on my way out this morning. Not the best, will try to take some better ones later....

    Bilstein 5100s with OEM Springs

Stanley - The ride is so much more improved both in handling/cornering (way less sway around corners) and smoothness over bumps. I was previously running on the factory shocks at 80K mileage, and this is a night and day difference. It's mostly a daily driver on the LA freeways, but I like to...
