My Tacomas also had 270 rathe than 265 tires. I guess I am talking about this being literally like adding a 250 pound passenger to my truck and then my gas goes from 20mpg to 14.8mpg or 100 miles less than expected....

Of course. I get this. Even with canopy which makes it about same as 4Runner it was still getting the numbers I stated. Average out the plus/minus differences of the two and we are talking only a couple hundred pounds. 17 to 21 should be the worst to best. If it is truly 14.8 which is 2.2 less...

Gas mileage sucks compared to my tacoma(s) Had a 2008 and a 2013 Tacoma. Both were double cab long beds so should have been the heaviest with the least impressive mileage of Tacoma family. However, I was getting around 20 miles per gallon in both of these averaged between city and highway use...

Yep. All I was trying to ask is why some are cut and mine seem to not be. One guy here GUARANTEED that they would be cut...but another guy claimed some have it and some do not need it or earlier delivery. See an issue here? I have cranked my tires all the way over and have more than a couple...

Thanks for replies. Yes, I come from the days of old school and changing at 3k miles. My last couple Tacomas were 5k and when switched to synthetic I ran 9 - 10k. Never had any issues. Cool to know that synthetic is in our rigs and good for 10k between changes!
