there was one for sale in colorado springs not too long ago for 4000. It looked pretty nice. I don't know if it came from this country because it had a manual and the turbo and from the reading I've done, they weren't available in this country. Anyway it looked really nice, new tires I believe...

got a check in the mail today for my car... for 1000 more than I was asking.... and it says VOID right on it in the background! sheesh, now I'm being insulted too! so what do I do? burn it? take it to the bank as an obvious scam? cops?

yeah, some of these losers can't use english worth a damn. I agree:iagree: with not wanting to deal with them in general even without the obvious scam attempts :bash:

These people must spend more energy in thinking up these scams and ways to get "out" of work than they would if they just go a job. Losers...:gun:

So I'm looking to sell my car and I've gotten a fair amount of attention from obvious scammers. The lastest one is the one where they're from overseas and send you a certified check. Does anyone know just how those scams work? I don't really see what the danger would be in cashing the check, but...

I guess I was thinking about the shaft and gears tranny(or maybe it was the chain driven one) I don't know squat about them, it's a box that make trucks move. well not quite but you get the point, I'm not very knowledgeable about them
