Remember the first rule of Craigslist is to meet someone in person. All this, free shipping and no way to lose and it being in N.D. is crazy, at least to me.

I know it is tempting to get a buyer, but there are terrible shity people out there. My suggestion is to talk to the bank about the check, they may have knowledge of what to do. They may recommend contacting the police, but these predators go out of the way, not being traced. After all is said and done, my best guess is that you store away the check.

My vote, write him a nasty email back, and upload a copy of the check for us to laugh at.
