    What’s killing your 3rd Gen?

Dry state-rot Although I'm in a dry area (CA) my 2000 with only 215k is showing every plastic bit...sensors, caps, bushings etc are all starting to crumble. I went out for a drive at the Oceano Dunes and always wash the undercarriage after...this last time, two big plactic "C's" fell on the...

At this age (2000) but "only" 215k on it, its still sounding and behaving per usual. But, I do notice I shift hard sometimes, especially going up grades. It feels like ti has much less power than before. I changed from E Load K02's to an America's Tire AT in C. I do feel as if the truck is a bit...

You were on it...but I didn't see anything wrong with the heat sensor until a pressure check!

Finally found it Ok...The air was finding its way in through a deteriorated heat sensor, just on the other side of the firewall. My 2000 began to overheat and leak coolant, but I kept looking too low for the leak. After a pressure test, it was up in the center against the firewall. When I...

Ok, so I have tried many things. There is a possibility that my truck had two issues. The water on the passenger floorboard hasn't happened since I cleaned out the condensation "valve/tube". Now, its just the water sounds, which, I believe, is air bubbles in my lines...I think. It is not when...

So, I just replaced the windshield during this. No rust (dry California area). I’m wondering if it’s bubbles in the cooking system. I never use it. I’ll try the radiator level too! Thank you.

So, this is with the heat nor a/c running. I’ll have to see how much it changes when I’m accelerating or not.

I don’t have one, but I appreciate the help. The sounds of water moving seem to be behind the A/C controls- middle of the console/ asteroid etc. Because the floorboard wetness occurs when it rains, (yes, my windows were up) I’m thinking it’s a clogged drain I never knew about.

Hello...Help. I've found conflicting answers online and in parking lots. -Subject: Supersweet Desert Dune 2000 T4R SR5. -Problem: When accelerating, I hear water sloshing behind my dashboard. Water has been found in/on front passenger floorboard carpet after heavy rains. Connected? Maybe. I...

Long time1 I haven't posted here in forever. Just under 200k miles. Getting White Line bushings and front Bilsteins as the Ranchos from 2016 are all rusted out and my bushings don't even seem to be rubber anymore. Every speedbump is super creaky and the rebound is no good. Things that bug...
