rochmpr Rev. 4 - Broke (Build) Thread

You'll enjoy Cameron Park...we just moved up here in March (from Folsom), and are really liking it. There is only one stop light between us and HWY 50 now, instead of 38, lol.

    Parking Brake Repair Procedure Question

Yes, that spring is necessary. I realize this post is a couple weeks old, so hopefully you've got it back in order. On that strut, there's a longer finger on the outside facing the rear, which doesn't engage much, requiring that spring to keep the rear part engaged. Hope you're all set!

    Bay Area, Sacramento meet up

I’m in to help as well, but prob won’t be avail until closer to 6 or 7, and have limited straps, also. Ironically, I have a new winch sitting in my kitchen waiting to be installed. I’ll check back on my way home (Folsom) from Downtown to see ifd any updates. Good luck guys.

Secondary Air Injection Pump Failure on V8's! Important!

Thanks, Jeff! Amazing experience with slyfox75...I highly recommend. After throwing P1442 and P1445 codes, I found this thread, and I'm glad I did. My codes showed "valve stuck closed", so I did not need to worry about block plates. I would recommend you install this prior to any failures, so...

Front Differential needle roller bearing replacement

I had a groaning/growling feeling below my feet, as well. Thought it might be that bearing. After replacing the driver axle due to a torn boot, I was tempted to swap this bearing, but didn't. The noise remained after the axle swap, and my wife mentioned feeling the same thing on the passenger...

Would love to join, and thanks for the heads up. Don't think we'll be back by then, though. Currently at Alabama Hill, entering Death Valley tomorrow for the week. Have fun!

    Sacramento/Foothills Area Trail Run Oct. 28 2017

When we had a friend join us with his Jeep (and we all had T4R), we taped a sign to cover his emblem that said "FauxRunner".

    Bay Area, Sacramento meet up

Just noticed this thread...following from Folsom. Another fun trail I did nearish here, was out of Downieville called Poker Flat. A fun, overnight trip with lots of mining history (you'll see a theme here with me...). A slight offshoot took us a a fire tower, where the guy invited us in, and...

Sacramento Area Meet n Greet n Trail Run (Signal Peak) Sat. Sept. 2 2017

I may have been out of the country but I don't know howI missed the "mention"/"invite". So....Thanks, Brian! Next time, I'll pay attention more, as I'd love to join a fellow Folsom T4R on a backyard trail. You guys had a great time! I love seeing a newer wheeler embraced and encouraged...

    Fixed the THUD. Full Write-Up.

I'm glad my over due project has been delayed a few months...long enough for the most excellent write up I've seen on this subject. Well done, and thank you. You have done the 4th Gen crowd a great favor. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

How to remove the hooks/tie downs on the rear seats?

If you're sleeping in the back, a quality sleeping pad will leave them unnoticeable. I've slept in mine several times that way, and I'm 6'5", so I have bigger things to worry about. That's very clean there in your truck :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
