Re: Re: Reasonable shop to install body lift in GTA Thanks for the advice, I have actually read through that write-up couple times already. Thing is, I live in a condo and don't have enough space around my parking spot to do it. :(

Reasonable shop to install body lift in GTA

What's a good shop (preferably with experience) on installing a body lift in the greater toronto area? I have checked with national 4wd but they're asking a steep price for it ($900+)

    v8 gas economy vs. v6

I think you've mis-read my post. "V6 is no where close to not being smooth". Double negative. i apologize if i've made it confusing :p

    v8 gas economy vs. v6

I drive a GX470 in vancouver (V8), and a V6 SR5 4runner in Toronto. to be honest, V8 has more power and it's smoother. However, the V6 does fine and it's more than powerful enough for daily usage (i commute mostly on hwy). Bare in mind that the v6 in our runners are more powerful than many...

Third winter on the original Dunlops

I was actually looking at the Nokians WR G2 SUV myself couple weeks ago. I had Nokian WR on my audi TT for winter, and I drove it to the ice hotel in Quebec. Snow storm on the hwy when I came back, my girlfriend was amazed at the amount of traction we have on that little car! I would recommend...

    Lowest Max Height Parking Garage

Just curious, what is the lowest "maximum height" garage that you guys have been into? If your 4runner is lifted, please post how much lift was installed. :D I'll start, just got my 4runner not long ago. Lowest is 6'4 :) no problem at all. Stock ride height on a 07 SR5 4x4

    What Battery To Use?

i just got a yellow top D34 from costco, the negative cable is too short to be attached! >< what should i do?

    Battery Size

returned the battery today, and went for size 34. With the adapter, the height is now perfect; however, since the terminals are shifted to one side of the battery on the 34, the negative terminal is now too far away to be connected! ><

No spoiler for me Easier to mount my kayak onto the roof without the spoiler. Plus, without the spoiler, i can open the rear gate with the kayak on top :)
