Do I need a new trunk latch?

Mine went bad last year. The WD40 and screwdriver helped but it continued to get worse over the next few months and I ended up having to replace the latch, so you might start to keep an eye out for a cheap one. I picked it up off somebody parting out for pretty cheap and swap is an easy job...

    Parting 2000 4Runner SR5 Desert Dune 4X4 Marysville, WA

Do you still have the roof rack, and are you willing to ship it? (Shipping to 81641 if that matters) I just need the rails, not the crossbars.

    Baby's Room 3/4 rack special!!

Give in to the temptation! My wife and I bought a house in January, so now I'm mowing neighborhood lawns like a middle-schooler to pay for this rack and a CBI hybrid. Stupid adulthood.

    Baby's Room 3/4 rack special!!

I'm sure we could work something out. I don't get to Denver too often but if you're willing to hold on to it for a few weeks either me or a friend will be in the area and could pick it up.

    Baby's Room 3/4 rack special!!

I'm in. Should I PM you to confirm? I'm guessing payment is through Paypal? I'm on the Western Slope of Colorado if anybody wants to try to ship together. I have family in Grand Junction and Durango so I can pick up/deliver pretty much anywhere.

    Mastercraft Courser MXT

Yeah, they're way rumbly. Its my DD, but my commute is under 5 minutes so I don't mind the noise. And I like to let people know I'm coming from a block away.:clap2: The 2-ply worried me some too, but the majority of the use will be mountain roads either up where I live or down in the San Juans...

    Mastercraft Courser MXT

Just got a set of 285/75/16 Mastercraft Courser MXTs mounted up. Figured I'd throw up a few pictures in case anyone else was interested. They just came out a few months ago so there is pretty limited info/pictures out there on the interwebs. They're on my 97 SR5, 3" suspension lift, no body...

Need Advise on Towing my 3rd Gen.

I towed my 97 from CO to PA and back, both times with Uhaul. The first time I used a dolly and disconnected the driveshaft, felt fine and had no problems going 70-75 mph. On the way back I got the full trailer because I didn't want to disconnect the driveshaft again. Same experience, just a...

Front Brake rotos on 3rd gen, advice needed

If you're interested in the Tundra's you can still upgrade to tundra rotors, just use the 191mm caliper if you don't want to do any grinding. 13WE (rather than 13WL) will fit the split 3 spoke without any problems. Not quite as beefy of an upgrade but still better than stock.

    Bilstein 5125 install troubles

So yeah, lower end first was the way to go. Thanks for the help. Since I had already fought that top nut on, I just took out the adapter bolt and it slipped right on with a little persuasion from my hammer. Now I feel like an idiot for fighting that thing as long as I did. I should be able to...

    Bilstein 5125 install troubles

I'll give it a try. I'm just lazy and don't want to contort my arm back up there to take the upper nut off...haha. That downward angle of the lower mount makes it a serious PITA to get on. But I guess it's probably relieves some stress on the bolt once its fully seated.

    Bilstein 5125 install troubles

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around off and on for a few years. I recently moved and finally have a house with a garage so I'm working on a few mods. This site has been an incredible help and many thanks to all of you. I never post because it seems every question I've had has been asked and...
