My 03 v8 rides empty 90% of time. I put v8 recommended coils and struts up front (885?) and the softer rears (895e?) My stock setup before the swap was 16 years old so anything would have been a serious upgrade. That said. I received a nice height adjustment as well as a very sturdy solid...

That's crazy talk. I wouldn't exclude 03-04' because of the numbers on paper. I agree that if you can find an 05'+ that is comparable in maintenance and mileage to an 03-04' go for the 05'+ but...again, don't just write them off. Fewer moving pieces. There are 1,000,000+ mile 2uz-fe's still...

I use a garden hose and use the diffused/high pressure option and soak the bay. I got under neath too. Working to break up caked on mud. Simple green goes on while there is still plenty of water on the engine. Let it run down and use he mist option and work to dilute it and let it seep. 2-3...

Just a heads up. This could have been a factor of age. This also could have been a factor of degreaser used in the engine bay. I washed my engine bay out two days ago. Did my normal routine. A routine that has never lead to problems previously...sure enough my idler and tensioner pulleys...

My 03 v8 is losing paint. It is on the tail gate and back corners of my bumper. The car sat on the lot for 5 years before it was sold so I imagine the rear end faced the south. My question to you is; am I just losing clear coating or is this a sign of rust underneath? I cannot figure it out...
