WooHoo!!! Basically got the same deal as you did 3 weeks ago. I'm loving the 4R so far.

Well... the last 3 days were spent in a Weekend Bug Out. The 4R got me there, acted as my tent/range truck, and got me home. Good stuff!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He's only 9 months old-- he will clear it no problem by the time he is 1.5 yrs. Our German Shorthaired Pointer is tiny... he stands maybe 2 feet at the shoulders and he clears it just fine. As a matter of fact, we are in a loaner Tundra from Toyota right now...

I'll post pics when I get it back. They said it will probably be tomorrow or Monday-- they can't do it at Toyota and have to send it out. I'm not sure what they are actually paying, it got worked into the purchase order. I think it will end up being somewhere in the neighborhood of $1400.

You are gonna love the Gen4 17. I carry one every day and have had NO problems at all with it. Do yourself a favor though and pick up a set of rubberized grips from TalonGrips-- they made a huge difference in grip comfort for me.

I'm actually getting Katskin seats installed right now. I dropped the 4Runner off this morning. I worked mine into a deal on a 2012 Blizzard SR5 that the dealership here needed to get off the lot a couple weeks ago. Anyway. I'll take pics and let you know how it looks when they are done.

I changed a tire. Actually, it was pouring rain out. I called Toyota Care and let them send out Roadside Assistance--and they changed my tire. At work today I got a screw in the tread. Tried a can of fix-a-flat before calling Toyota Care, but not dice. Ahh well.

Today I took the 4R to a pretty remote work site to check on the security situation. I tested out the 4WD system for the first time. I've only owned the 4Runner since Thur though. Went with gramps to check out our farm. You can either take a 15 minute detour around several farms, or cut across 2 freshly plowed cotton fields from the County Road..... I cut across. Very loose...
