My family is batting 1000 with head gasket issues with 4th gens. We had an 04' and 05' both Sport Ed V6. Both of them had the dreaded head gasket issue right around 130k. I sure hope my 14' LE doesn't suffer the same fate.

I would be interested to see the sales figures for Tahoe/Yukons. It sure seems the new 15'+ body style are everywhere in my neck of the woods. I may notice this only because I really want a new Yukon to replace my 14' Limited 4runner. Not that I don't like the 4runner, I just want the 3rd...

I've said this in similar threads... I try not to look in the direction of my 14' Nauti Blue LE in fear of scratching it. You are not alone!!! Get some Zaino or similar quality wax on...it does help.

A little Zaino and elbow grease usually does the trick!

Exactly what I was thinking! I had no issue test driving my Limited. If I'm not mistaking the Limited is as much or more than the TRD Pro. I had a family friend that went to a dealer to buy a vehicle and the salesperson didn't believe he was going to pay cash. He swiftly walked out the door...

I don't know the proper answer to the OP's question, but I don't believe anyone has really addressed it. The OP wanted to make sure he had the correct 4WD selection for snow/ice conditions. I know the Limiteds have AWD, but can someone in the know answer when is the proper time to lock in 4WD?

Walk away. I paid 39200 for my 14 limited(Navy with Redwood leather) in May. That price did not include tax/registration. Otherwise it included all dealer costs.

This issue has been happening for years. My 04' had the blistering issue on the tailgate. I now have a 14' and am worried that it is going to show up again. Seems crazy that Toyota hasn't fixed this issue.
