For the most part. The marks left by an egg when someone threw one at mine didn't buff out.
I've noticed a lot more marks on the 4runner than on our BMW which is a similar color. But a lot of that may be based on how the vehicles are used. The 4R has dogs getting in and out, lumber piled on top, random stuff loaded in and out, and me adding mods. The BMW gets none of that.
When I see a mark, I'll attempt to buff it out, but I bought the vehicle to use, not to look at so I'm not going to stress over every little mark.

These are truly unicorns. At least in a 4x4 drivetrain. Have been trying to find one in South Texas and all they seem to get are either black, white or silver in RWD.

but aren't the tires in this picture graphite??
I'll (hopefully) be buying a 2015 SR5 Premium in a couple weeks but having a hard time between choosing colors. Thought I was set with magnetic gray and graphite TRD wheels but then saw the nautical blue with black TRD wheels and loved the look. I know it's all subjective but anyone have advice or comments on these combinations? Thanks!

^ I thought they were graphite too. I just bought a Nautical Blue SR5P on Wednesday night. I'm 99% sure I'm going to be going with the graphite TRD wheels.
Congrats! I can't wait until I finally decide what I want and then get it. I feel like a woman shopping for clothes...can't decide. But the graphite on blue looks really nice, too. Have you seen any pictures of the TRD wheels in matte gray? Mostly I only see the black or graphite online - didn't even know there was matte gray for awhile. But I think graphite are more unique and catch the eye

My 97 runner was blue so I special ordered a 2005 Sport in blue when it was time to upgrade. Didn't want the sunroof and most SEs came that way. By the time they built it in 06 they didn't do blue so ended up with gray. This time I got what I wanted. Love the blue. Had a chevy burb driver stop at the bottom of the Going to the Sun Road just to tell me how much he loved the blue too...

Here's our new Limited at the tint shop just after it was tinted.
Anyone else with a blue limited have any suggestion on sliders? I like the metal techs and the nerf bars by my wife doesn't think they'll go with the chrome.
I personally would like to cover all the "chrome" but it's her truck (for now).

I didn't know they made a matte gray until I read your post. I thought they were just black or graphite.
