It’s been a couple years for me now, but I believe I also had this issue and was able to get everything aligned by loosening the remaining fuel tank skid bolts, then inserting the bolt in question, and tightening everything back up evenly.
FWIW, the headlights are the easiest thing in the world to adjust yourself if you have a Phillips head screw driver. Park about 20 ft. behind a car on the road, pop the hood and adjust the low beams until they are just below the rear view mirrors of the car in front of you.

Here it is mounted to the side of the Gobi stealth.
The adhesive-backed 2” sponge neoprene runs the length of the Roadshower and actually makes it easier to reinstall each time I bolt it back on, since the neoprene has a memory of the vertical tubes. I’ve reattached it 5-6 times now and put...
This forum has several results if you search for ARB AOB switch. I actually ran into a unique problem so I’ll clarify that.
Top: AOB wires
Bottom: ARB isolation switch wires
*Note: after install the light on the switch stayed illuminated regardless of switch position. I flipped the AOB green...
I believe PowerTrays redesigned this to mount the SwitchPros in the vertical position (as shown on the homepage of powertrays.com) per SwitchPros warranty. Water intrusion has been an issue when mounted horizontally. The webpage shows the new (first image) and old style (second image) ARB /...
The ARB single compressor install has been documented several times here but I haven’t been able to find much using PowerTrays, so here goes.
2020 ORP here. I chose to install the compressor on the drivers side of the engine bay. There are other options for location but I made the decision on...
I also have a set of Rago panels. No issues whatsoever in over a year. Solid quality. I have nearly every inch occupied by molle pouches stuffed full of tie downs, tools, recovery gear, etc. probably 40 lbs each side.
These are definitely more yellow than amber, but being skeptical as well and this being my first set of yellow fogs, I was impressed. The other day I was driving through thick fog and my sport ss3s were awesome. Especially in snow, the yellow is great to improve visibility. As far as the look on...
Update! Paul at GOBI confirms the vertical tubes can handle the 50 lbs and the install went smoothly. I used 4 of the brackets from Yakima, and two strips of 3/8” thick 1” wide sponge neoprene to protect the finish. I’ll grab some photos on my next camping trip.
Thanks for posting this OP. I’ve been looking to buy for awhile and was waiting for a sale. Didn’t realize REI carried them.
I’ll cut to the chase. Got my gearup discount and picked up a new 4 gallon Roadshower yesterday. I’m looking for the best way to mount it to my Gobi stealth rack. To...
Hit Palomar Divide truck trail near San Diego after my Billstein 6112/5160 with 2” front + 1” rear spring upgrade. Can’t believe I waited so long to upgrade!
I know there is a method to disable the DRL in pre-2020 models documented in this forum. It involves modifying a wire connector and looks pretty simple. Good luck!
