Hey everyone!
I recently found a Detours knucklebone tire carrier locally for a decent price. I bought it blind without knowing the pieces it’s supposed to come with. Well turns out I’m missing a safety pin to prevent the carrier from swinging down. I also don’t have any bolts to mount the tire...
Post more pictures! I’d definitely like to see what it looks like from different angles. I’m thinking of taking out the satoshi and going another route.
I’m interested in seeing how these get mounted on. I’ve got a 1” body lift and have that gap. I’ve bounced around the idea of doing it myself but I’ve been in your same shoes with Rad Rubber and decided if I should pay to avoid the trouble.
I think this says it best. From just the few posts I see that I am not the only one with this issue. Being a long time lurker, I have not yet reached the post count to start a for sale thread. Maybe some of the enthusiasts will appreciate aftermarket parts when the time comes to sell.
Hey everyone! This may seem more like a vent or soapbox discussion. Just want to see if anyone can relate to this.
For the past 20 days or so I have had for sale ads on Craigslist and FB marketplace. I’ve mostly put up spare or aftermarket parts from when I purchased my 4Runner. It seems there...
Don’t mean to hijack the thread. Where did you get that bug deflector? I can’t find one that covers the side of the grill like that.
I’m stoked to see how those LED strips will fit in the headlights. Keep us posted!
That sounds like a good plan. The set I have is still taken apart. I figured it would be best just Incase you messed up your only set. I had 3 sets of lights. Each with different set ups. I’m interested in seeing this LED strip in the housing.
I have a set of OEM housing retrofitted with Morimoto D2S. Let me know if you’re interested and we can work out a deal. I’ll be keeping an eye on your build. I’m interested to see your bumper set up since I’m having a hard time decide some for myself.
He will definitely be able to do it for you. Honda’s are definitely easier due to the smaller size but Toyota’s design is way easier for removing the CV. Be prepared to fill your front axle due to some leakage. I’d just do the front, rear and transfer case while you’re at it. Atleast that’s what...
Let’s keep this friendly and politics out of it gents. I’ve never seen the benefit in spending over $1k on a roof rack. Maybe that’s why I haven’t bought one yet lol. Any other good mom & pop companies you all recommend I look into?
Definitely need a how-to. I’m considering swapping out the satoshi grill and going back to color matched stock grill. This definitely looks better than stock and satoshi.
Two sets of OEM headlights off my 06 4Runner SR5. One set has Morimoto mini D2S projectors already retrofitted. Also have an extra set of stock projectors that came off the retrofit set. All lights work and in great condition. Never used due to building an ultimate set that’s in use right now...
