Thank you for the advice Wilson. I was able to do some more research and I got the connector repined. It's working great now!

Turns out I have a air box for a 99+ but I have a 98. So the Maf won't match up. I had to reinstall the old CAI until I can figure out how to swap maf's or repin the connector somehow.

My 4runner had a cheap CAI on it when I got it. I swapped it out today with a stock air box (with deck plate) and an airaid tube and filter. After the swap the truck is driving ok at near idle speeds but under acceleration it's bogging down and backfiring. Any ideas what could be causing this...

Good looking truck. I just placed an order for one of those airaid jr's after seeing it in your build.

Went to the pick-a-part and found some power outlets out of some camry's and corolla's. Now I have working power in the dash and the cargo area!

I figured either remote start, keyless entry, alarm or some combination of those three. The truck didn't blow up but it wouldn't start after I got finished. Turns out I just had a bad splice, scared the crap out of me!

Pulled this rats-nest of wires from behind my dash, any idea of what used to be back there? The previous owner just cut the wires and left them in place.
