    OME 884/895E OR 885/895 on a V8 4Runner

Hi Jon, I haven't done this yet as I'm still looking for a local shop to ideally source the parts and perform the removal and install including the alignment. One thing I'm not clear on is the rear air/ecu/fuse. Once converted to coils, is there anything that needs to be done to either the...

    OME 884/895E OR 885/895 on a V8 4Runner

Thanks for the responses guys! Right now, leaning towards the 884/895e combo along with OME 90021/60004 shocks. Will get the 5mm trim packer for the drivers front/rear as well to fix the lean issue and the Metaltech RAS conversion kit. Just need to find a local store (I'm in Toronto...

    OME 884/895E OR 885/895 on a V8 4Runner

Please, please, please come back after you get it installed to let us know what the actual lifts you got were. From all the research I've done, 885 will give you just over a 3" lift on the front on a V8. More on a V6. Please, please, please! :)

    OME 884/895E OR 885/895 on a V8 4Runner

Thanks for your response, your feedback was one of the threads I looked at as well and going on the premise that If an 884/885E gives a negative rack on a V6, that the same setup on a V8 should be even or slightly positive rake which is what I'm after. When all is said and done, I should be at...

    OME 884/895E OR 885/895 on a V8 4Runner

Hi all. So I've gone through hundreds of threads on all forums and yet I still can't get a straight answer. I want to remove/replace my xREAS/Air on my 07 Limited with conventional struts/springs. I know I need the Metaltech RAS to coil adapter kit. The 885/895 is supposed to give a 3/2"...

New 4runner owner, have some questions re: towing?

Yes, I'm in Canada and unfortunately for me, yes, I just checked, looks like I do not have the WD hitch as it's just attached to the rear subframe and does not have the extra 2 pieces that goes to the sides. :( Having said that, should I just get a Toyota heavy duty WD hitch (for the US V8's)...

New 4runner owner, have some questions re: towing?

Excellent thanks for the thorough replies. The truck I'm getting already has the rear air ride so it should be all levelled out regardless of weight in the bag... although I'm browsing the lifts page and I never noticed before but a level even stance looks better than the forward raked look...

New 4runner owner, have some questions re: towing?

Hi all, picking up my 2008 V8 Limited 4runner later tonight. :) Can't wait, got it to tow my track car to the track as driving it 2 hours each way with a dronning exhaust was getting tiring. This will also be a step up from my 2006 Subaru Impreza Wrx Wagon as it'll be a bigger version of what...
